Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Bachelor of Applied Management degree program to be your virtual interns in a project-based experience.


Learners in this program are poised to succeed in examining your digital footprint and identifying strategies to enhance your digital presence. Learners will consider issues of your company's digital footprint, competitor analysis, audience identification, analysis of your current digital content (including social media and SEO), and suggested key messages and social media management plans.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization. 


The final project deliverable would be a detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations. This would include;


  • A business model canvas for your company,
  • Competitor and SWOT analysis, including industry trends and external threats
  • Audience identification and analysis
  • Analysis of digital communication and marketing current state, including gaps and competitive advantages
  • Key events and timelines for business
  • Suggested key messaging
  • Suggested messaging channels, including reasoning behind them
  • Samples of a minimum of ten social media posts and ideas for a minimum of 10 video or podcast topics, along with synopsis.
  • Identification of strategy SMART goals, including measurement benchmarks.
  • Conclusion and any other recommendations beyond digital.

Requirements

Learners in groups of 3 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.


Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Develop a digital communications strategy
  • Analyze your company's digital footprint
  • Create key messaging
  • Develop templates for social media messages and scheduling
