Business Information Systems (BIS) students from Saskpolytech are available for project work to support their Cooperative Education (COOP) / Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experience. The BIS program is accredited by the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS). Students eligible for COOP and WIL have taken courses in Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint), C# WPF programming, Java programming (OOP, network programming, concurrency, JDBC), Databases (Access, Oracle, MS SQL Server), and Web programming (HTML, JavaScript/JQuery, Ajax, HTTP fundamentals), Networking essentials( TCP/IP fundamentals, windows server set up and administration, IIS set up and configuration). This technical training has been supported by business fundamentals, including accounting, business communications, business statistics, and organizational behaviors.
