presentations social policy researchThe McGill Institute for Health and Social Policy (IHSP) is looking for a research assistant to produce a summary report based on the proceedings of its 2022 spring conference, Disrupted Lives. This 4-day conference was hosted by the IHSP, UNICEF Canada,and the ListenUP! for Youth Wellbeing initiative and brought together young people, academics, community organizations, and policymakers to assess the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic policies on youth.
The report should represent presentations and discussions, which have been recorded. The selected student will listen to the recordings and produce a factual summary of key issues and recommendations from all presentations and discussions.
The student will be supervised and supported by Jennifer Proudfoot, Strategic Lead, Partnerships and Knowledge Exchange at the McGill Department of Equity, Ethics and Policy with input from the conference leadership team, Ari Nandi (McGill), Frank Elgar (McGill), and Lisa Wolff (UNICEF Canada). The student will work off-site and independently but regular input and guidance will be provided, as well as whenever helpful to the student.
