Working closely with, and supervised by, the McGill Institute for Health and Social Policy (IHSP) Partnership and Knowledge Exchange Lead, the Partnership Development Officer will:1) identify new potential policy, research, and academic collaborators for the Institute and its faculty members; and 2) develop a partner registry and map for the School of Population and Global Health (SPGH). This work will involve: consulting with IHSP and SPGH faculty and reviewing research project reports to identify current partner organizations; creating, inputting, and organizing partner data into a partner registry; and doing a broad web search to identify potential new local, provincial, Canadian and global partner organizations and individuals, relevant to the work of the IHSP and its faculty.

Mentorship

The student will work independently, but collaboratively, and with frequent access to input, guidance and supervision from the IHSP's Partnerships and Knowledge Exchange Lead staff person. The Partnerships and Knowledge Exchange Lead will also provide mentorship and training in knowledge translation and partner engagement if the student is interested.
