The project addresses the pressing issue of breaking cycles of poverty and violence among young individuals. By equipping these youths with the necessary tools and knowledge, the program seeks to reduce recidivism and facilitate their successful reintegration into society. The project focuses on creating a comprehensive curriculum that can be easily implemented in county and state juvenile facilities. This curriculum will serve as a foundation for teaching critical skills that are often lacking in traditional education settings, ultimately fostering a sense of empowerment and self-sufficiency among participants.
The project will deliver a structured curriculum that includes modules on life skills, leadership, and financial literacy. Each module will contain lesson plans, activities, and assessment tools to ensure effective learning. Additionally, the curriculum will be designed to be adaptable to various facility settings and participant needs. The final deliverable will include a detailed implementation guide for educators and facilitators. An analysis of X practices
