The main goal of this project is to develop a comprehensive growth strategy for Play Forever, a non-profit organization that provides recreation, education, and health services to seniors and youths in Toronto, Ontario. The strategy will help the organization capitalize on opportunities, leverage its strengths, and shape its future direction in order to better serve its target demographic of marginalized communities and low-income families.
Mobile App Development
The main goal for the Play Forever App project is to develop a mobile application that serves as a one-stop-shop for users who are interested in supporting the not-for-profit organization. The app will have several key features, including volunteer sign-up and tracking, event display, direct messaging among members, and online donations with tax slip generation. The app's development will help Play Forever increase its engagement with its members and donors, ultimately contributing to the organization's growth and success.
Newsletter Development
Our organization is passionate about promoting social causes. We want to increase awareness about a particular topic. We would like to collaborate with students to develop and distribute a newsletter promoting our cause. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Brainstorming topics for each issue. Stay updated on past, present and future programs and events Creating materials to be published and making revisions based on feedback. Proofreading drafts of newsletters and recommending areas for improvement. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending other ways to increase awareness about our cause.

We hope to gain an understanding of what components should be included and on implementation strategies.
Voice Over Scripting & Performance
Our organization wants to create a simple video using images that we already have. We would like to collaborate with students to help us tell a compelling story through this video. Based on our desired outcomes and the selected images, we would like to collaborate with students to script and record a professional voice over. The purpose is to promote engagement with the community.
