Culture Deck Update: Research and Narrative Development
Our company culture deck is a foundational document communicating who we are, what we value, and how we work together. Over time, our company has evolved, and our current culture deck no longer captures the full picture of our team, history, and aspirations. Our goal for this project is to refresh and revitalize our culture deck to accurately reflect our current values, history, and team dynamics. Learners will review documentation, conduct research, gather insights from key team members, synthesize findings to help identify recurring themes, unique stories, and key moments in our organization's journey, and help to craft a compelling narrative about the Riipen journey and culture.
Custom Object Projects
This is a 2-track project: Track 1; New Lead Custom Object Pitch The goal of this project is to design an effective system for tracking new leads from various sources, with a focus on supporting business decision-making through data-driven insights. These lead tracking tools will ultimately support the measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs), identification of performance trends, and prediction of future outcomes. Student teams will choose one of two lead lifecycle focus areas: Employer Lead Lifecycle Academic Lead Lifecycle The project will begin with a kickoff meeting led by the project manager, who will provide an overview of the current tracking methods, the specific needs of the business, and ideas for how success can be achieved. While not mandatory, a strong final presentation may include a mock-up of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system created using free tools, demonstrating how leads could be efficiently tracked and managed. Track 2; New Opportunity Custom Object Pitch The objective of this project is to develop an efficient and conflict-free method for tracking opportunities within a dedicated sales or service pipeline. This system must be designed to function independently of existing object pipelines, while enabling seamless collaboration and workflow for the Customer Success team. Students will work to create a tracking framework that supports the measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs), identification of trends, and prediction of future outcomes—tools critical to data-informed business decisions. The project will begin with a kickoff meeting led by the project manager, who will introduce current systems, outline the desired outcomes, and share best practices and success strategies. While not required, a strong final presentation may include a mock-up of a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system built using free tools, showcasing how the proposed solution could be applied in a real-world environment.
DEIB Roadmap for 2026 and Beyond: Updating Riipen's 5-Year Plan
Riipen is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where every team member can bring their whole selves to work and feel a sense of belonging (DEIB). We are looking for learners to update our DEIB 5-year plan, operationalizing the outcomes of our most recent DEIB company survey (October 2024), aligning with company values and current DEIB goals. This project focuses on addressing the unique challenges and opportunities presented by a remote work environment and a multi-generational workforce. Learners will analyze existing DEIB data, identify key trends, and propose actionable strategies that Riipen should apply in the next 5 years to enhance inclusivity and belonging across Riipen. The project will enable learners to apply their knowledge of DEIB, organizational behaviour, data analysis, content creation, effective corporate communications, and strategic planning to develop a comprehensive roadmap and updated 5 year plan that supports Riipen's DEIB objectives.
AI-Assisted Scoring System Proposal for Riipen
The project aims to explore and propose a structure for an AI-assisted scoring system on the Riipen platform. The primary goal is to identify which types of learner activities should be scored for completion and which should be qualitatively assessed with AI assistance. This involves understanding the nature of activities on Riipen and determining how AI can enhance the evaluation process. The project will require understanding current capabilities within Riipen for tracking completion and for scoring activities, and proposing an updated system that is both effective and adaptable. Key considerations include the types of activities that benefit from AI assessment, the design of scoring metrics, and the configurability of the scoring system to accommodate diverse educational contexts.
