**PLEASE READ** Project Eligibility & Requirements: To be eligible for this project Learners must have previous experience in creating digital illustrations over various mediums, including (cartoons and other illustration styles) using various digital mediums and illustration creation software. Learners must be able to create illustrative designs based on concept descriptions and or images.  PROJECT SCHEDULE: Learners are required to attend One 40 min mandatory weekly meeting . Meeting hours are between 3:30pm-6:30pm EST/1:30pm-4:30pm MT/12:30pm-3:30pm PDT. Learners must be able to commit at least 10 hours per week for project work. 

BBYF Digital ad/Marketing Project-W23-24

**PLEASE READ** Project Eligibility: Learners must have previous digital marketing, market research and social media content creation experience and/or education, to be eligible for this project. Learners must also be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 3:30pm-6:30pm EST/1:30pm-4:30pmMT/12:30pm-3:30pm PDT. Scope We are looking for a group of Learners who have previous marketing, social media content creation skills and experience, to create compelling ads, posts, videos, reels, etc., that will target this audience using the right hashtags, phrases, etc. to increase our visibility and program registration. This content will be created for the following social media platforms Instagram , Facebook and LinkedIn.

Building Black Youth Foundation's UX/UI web development & redesign Project

The Building Black Youth Foundation is an NPO with a special experiential learning program called the Upskilling Youth Internship Program. This program is for students 19+ currently enrolled in a post secondary institution. Through this program we are looking for UX/UI experienced web developers to support the redesigning and updating of our website. We are in need of new features and pages added to our site to reflect our current progress and updates. We are looking to have new pages added to our current website, new animations and features such as statistics and KPI’s on our programs displayed in exciting, eye-catching ways.

Consult for Impact

Every semester we here at Rotman Commerce, University of Toronto, run a program called Consult for Impact for our students.  Consult for Impact  is an experiential learning opportunity that encourages the application of theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Our program strives to provide pro-bono consulting services that allow students to experience the operations of providing consulting services for a client organized in a structured learning environment. We are looking to partner with non-profit organizations, University affiliated organizations, social startups and/or small businesses in Canada who are unable to afford external consulting services. More specifically we are looking for organizations who can help us as following: Provide a problem statement or business question that your organization is currently facing that our students can offer you consultation on Provide documents and other relevant information to guide the students E.g., Financial statements/ organizational structure/ strategic planning documents/ market research/ etc. Provide a dedicated point of contact who is available by email to answer consulting team questions Be available for two 30-minute phone calls with the consulting team  Provide feedback to the team about their presentation

The Building Black Youth Foundation's Black History Research Collection Project

**PLEASE READ** Project Eligibility & Requirements : To be eligible for this project Students must have previous experience in writing research papers on accurate sourced information. Students must be able to accurately document information found through research and prepare research reports. Students should preferably have an interest in learning and researching uplifting, pre-colonial black history topics and information. Students must be available for the 2 month period consecutively, for the duration of the project and be able to attend all weekly project meetings. Students must also be able to commit at least 8-10 hours per week for the duration of the project. PROJECT SCHEDULE: Students are required to attend One 40 min mandatory weekly meeting . Scope : We are looking for individuals who are grant writers and or have grant writing fundraising experience to help implement fundraising tasks, donation procurement, Grant Writing and funding proposal writing, within the following initiatives: Fundraising implementation tasks to raise money. Securing donations from individuals, organizations/businesses, sponsors, investors, etc. Grant writing & procurement. Completing applications for funding opportunities. Fundraising campaign management and development to increase outreach Fundraising marketing strategies and implementation including drafting elevator pitches, creating pitch presentations & presenting them. Fundraising/donation communication tasks including outreach to individuals, organizations/businesses to secure donations. Researching sponsor, funding and partnership opportunities. Drafting guidelines for resolving inquiries developing strategies to improve outreach capabilities. Lead generation

Fundraising Project Team size: 5-10 students, or flexible Project time length: TBD Project weekly schedule : TBD- Students are required to attend One 40 min mandatory weekly meeting. Meeting hours are between 3:30pm-6:30pm EST/1:30pm-4:30pm MT/12:30pm-3:30pm PDT . Dates TBD Project daily schedule: Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday 1:00pm-8:00pm EST/12:00pm-6:00pm MT/10:00am-5:00pm PDT. Students must be ready, willing and able to participate in project work, communications and meetings during those hours. Our scheduling is flexible and allows for students to complete their work on weekends as well if need be.
