About COCHIC

COCHIC is a premium fashion brand that offers a curated selection of high-end apparel and accessories. Our goal is to provide a seamless and luxurious shopping experience for our customers. We use Shopify as our e-commerce platform and are looking to revamp our website to align with the expectations of a high-end fashion audience.


What is the main goal for this project?

We aim to update and revamp our existing Shopify website to create a premium, high-end shopping experience. The new design should focus on luxury aesthetics, intuitive navigation, and enhanced user experience (UX/UI) to attract and retain customers.

Students will work on the redesign and optimization of our Shopify website, ensuring it reflects the elegance of our brand while remaining easy to maintain. This will involve:

  1. UX/UI Research & Design:
  • Understanding luxury fashion website trends and best practices.
  • Conducting a needs analysis to define user expectations.
  • Creating wireframes and mockups using tools like Figma or Notion (bonus).
  1. Shopify Development & Customization:
  • Customizing a Shopify theme or developing a new layout that aligns with a high-end brand aesthetic.
  • Implementing improved navigation, product categorization, and checkout experience.
  • Ensuring mobile responsiveness and fast page speeds.
  1. Content Strategy & Visual Enhancements:
  • Enhancing product display, imagery, and descriptions to reflect a premium shopping experience.
  • Optimizing SEO for fashion-related searches.
  1. Website Testing & Optimization:
  • Testing prototypes with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback.
  • Refining UI/UX based on usability testing results.
  • Ensuring accessibility and seamless user interactions.
