Greg Coman Photography Website Redesign and SEO Optimization
Greg Coman Photography, a sole proprietor photography studio, is seeking to redesign its company website to enhance user experience, improve content management, and optimize for search engines (SEO). The current website is outdated and lacks the necessary features to effectively showcase the studio's portfolio and services. The goal of this project is to create a modern, visually appealing, and user-friendly website that will attract more clients and improve online visibility. The project will involve redesigning the website's layout, integrating a content management system (CMS), and implementing SEO best practices to ensure higher search engine rankings. This project provides an excellent opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of web design, content management, and SEO in a real-world setting.

Market Research on Competitors and Target Market
Itβs important for us to have a better understanding of how our target audience perceives our brand and competitors. We want to develop clarity on our competitive advantages and optimize our marketing strategy. Main Project : Students can focus on the following : Customer Profile - who is our potential target customer. Marketing channels and suggestions for the first campaign. Sales plan for the first year (numbers should be supported by the research). Competitive Analysis (who are our competitors + analysis of two main competitors). Opportunities and threats. Recommendations. Other tasks to consider: students to look at our current customer profile and recommend what we need to change. Do we need to change our messaging? How can we improve our online presence? Objective: We hope to gain a comprehensive understanding of a) our target market, and b) the competitors in our space and c) how we can differentiate ourselves through our product/service offering, and our messaging.

Marketing For a Photo Studio
The primary focus for the student(s) will be to put Greg Coman Photography on the top tier of photography services for the Halton Region, through the following approaches: Branding - Conduct a full competitive landscape assessment; define our organization's brand and core value proposition; identify opportunities and threats facing our brand; assess where and how to improve our brand's presence and differentiate from our competitors. Conduct a SWOT analysis. Identify our Unique Selling Proposition. Market Research - Investigate our competitive landscape; perform market segmentation to identify the ideal target market for (new or existing product or service); conduct customer surveys to gain insights into the perceptions and behaviours of our target customers; develop a pricing strategy; identify expansion opportunities; identify key messaging for (new product or service). Strategic Social Media Marketing - Conduct an audit of our current social media presence and/or other current communication channel(s); develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement; create a content calendar; create new social media posts, consistency of Inventory Assessment - review our existing photographs, help select appropriate ones for Web and social media use. Our goal at the end of this experience is to have tangible results: Branding and Marketing Communications - For the student(s) to help us improve our brand's presence and capture greater market share. Market Research - For the student(s) to help us gain a better understanding of our target market and ensure we are optimally positioned and our product and pricing align with our target sector/customer. Strategic Social Media Marketing - For the student(s) to help us improve our online presence, reach more customers, and effectively promote our brand through compelling content, through consistency of social media posts Inventory Assessment - for the student(s) through their creative approach, to help us review and select updated and relevant imagery, from our library of existing photographs, resulting in a visually appealing website and social media presence Other duties the student may complete could include : Assist with outbound email marketing campaigns as needed; measure and report on performance of these campaigns using tools such as Hubspot, Google Analytics, etc. Content development, including social posts, blog posts, LinkedIn articles, and website copy. assistance to help coordinate photo shoots - venue research, model agencies We will plan to communicate with our intern(s) using these communication tools: email, text, and/or telephone Primary contact : Greg Coman, Photographer.
