My experience includes working as an Employed Student Nurse (ESN) in thoracic surgery at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH). This role has expanded my clinical knowledge and nursing practice, particularly in surgical care, patient monitoring, and acute response, and has refined my skills in managing complex post-operative needs, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

I am a third-year nursing student at BCIT, currently specializing in Perinatal Health and Lactation Consultancy. I started my own business in 2023 with beauty and wellness services, such as lashes, brow laminations and tooth gems. As I progressed through my program and started specializing, I adjusted my business structure to incorporate medical aesthetics and wellness. I am pursuing a Master of Nursing–Nurse Practitioner in the future, with aspirations to build this clinic into a women's health centre that prioritizes healthcare access for women and children of color and accessible healthcare for newly immigrated individuals. My goal is to provide comprehensive services focusing on lactation consultancy, reproductive health, nutrition, education, and holistic wellness, addressing the needs of underserved communities across Canada and beyond. Currently, I am completing the BCIT Perinatal specialty courses which align with my future aspirations.
