Data Entry: review & approve blog posts, add internal links

Our content team creates dozens of new blog posts every week (published here: https://www.squash.io/tutorials/). These are mostly software development tutorials and other relevant content to our audience. We would like to collaborate with students in data entry to perform some basic final quality checks on these articles as well as adding internal links between articles when needed. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our content and structure. We do NOT require any experience with software development . You will review the articles based on a list of general guidelines that we will be providing to you. These are mostly related to visual aspects and formatting of the content. The internal links between articles are already automated, you only need to accept or ignore suggestions that are already made by a software/plugin that we use with Wordpress. We will provide detailed instructions on how to do that. Become familiar with WordPress and using a plugin to accept internal link suggestions. Approving or rejecting blog posts according to our internal guidelines.

Blogging: Create blog posts for the tech industry

Squash.io is a DevOps platform that allows software developers to quickly deploy their web apps for testing purposes. We currently have many companies in our platform, including names like NASA, Wagtail and New York Public Radio. We would like to collaborate with students to create blog posts that drive more traffic to our website. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our goals, target market, products and services. Recommending topics for our blog posts. Drafting blog posts relevant to our business. Revising blog posts based on feedback. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending ways to market our blog. The blog posts are not going to be technical (i.e, you do not need any knowledge of software development). Our goal is to create blog posts containing statistics or trends related to technology in general. We will provide all the tools you need to do your own research. The only skills you need are: curiosity, ability to research information using the web and writing outstanding content.

Marketing project: Creating Infographics (software development topic) & branding guide

Squash.io is a DevOps platform that allows software developers to quickly deploy their web apps for testing purposes. We currently have many companies in our platform, including names like NASA, Wagtail and New York Public Radio. We are looking to build between 100-150 infographics to support our marketing initiatives on Twitter. We will provide the actual content for the infographics and basic info on how the info should be placed. Each infographic needs to be unique, engaging and very easy to read. The content/copy for each infographic will be available in Google Docs, we will provide one Google Document per infographic with as much detail as possible. The students responsible for this project are open to pick whatever tools they need to create these graphics, our preference is using canva.com though and we can provide access to a premium account with all features, stock photos, etc. Attached is an example of an Infographic template from Canva. The goal with this project is to first define a standard Infographic branding guide for Squash and then use it to develop the set of 100-150 infographics based on the content we will provide. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Zoom calls with one of our team members to go over the project specs so we can assist with any questions. Becoming familiar with Canva or perhaps a different design tool of the student's choice. Understanding of our specs when it comes to the content for each Infographic.

Use ChatGPT to automatically create a docker-compose or Dockerfile file based on a few prompts

Squash.io is a DevOps platform that allows software developers to quickly deploy their web apps for testing purposes. We currently have many companies in our platform, including names like NASA, Wagtail and New York Public Radio. We are looking to build a 100% free and standalone service to help software developers to quickly convert their applications to a docker-compose or Dockerfile setup, so they can run their app in any computer or server. Behind the scenes this service will use ChatGPT to build the actual docker-compose file. Our goal is to share this tool heavily in social media and multiple channels to drive awareness to our platform. We are looking for a group of students to build this free service. From a very high-level overview, this service will have two main components: A simple front-end where users will define the details of their application (see initial mockups attached). We are flexible on what technologies to use here. Our preference is ReactJs, since we already use it in our platform. A backend/API that will receive the requests from the front-end and process them. This backend will mainly: 1) convert the data from the front-end into a ChatGPT prompt; 2) send the prompt to ChatGPT's API; 3) receive a response from ChatGPT, run some sanity checks and send the response back to the front-end; Ideally this backend should be implemented in Python (but we are also flexible, it must run on Linux with Docker) and it should be delivered with a docker-compose file so we can easily integrate it in our platform. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Zoom calls with one of our team members to go over the project specs so we can assist with any questions. Becoming familiar with ChatGPT's API: https://platform.openai.com/docs/quickstart Developing both the front-end and backend service. We will provide extensive guidance and additional resources as needed. Some familiarity with Docker is helpful, but not mandatory since the logic for creating a docker-compose file is going to be provided by ChatGPT itself. Testing the service with users.
