Digital PASRR Assessment Application

The MRB Institute is seeking to develop a digital solution for completing PASRR (Preadmission Screening and Resident Review) assessments, which are critical for determining the appropriate care for individuals with mental illness or developmental disabilities. The current process is heavily reliant on manual paperwork, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. The goal of this project is to create an intuitive web and mobile application that streamlines the PASRR assessment process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in both Ohio and Illinois. By automating assessment assignments, and approval workflows and reducing the need for manual data entry, the application will enhance efficiency and accuracy. The project will provide learners with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of web and mobile development, user interface design, and regulatory compliance in a real-world context.

Redesign an Internal HR System / Process

Project Overview Our company is a new training and consulting company specializing in Healthcare Management. We have been awarded two contracts to complete Preadmission Screening Resident Review (PASRR) assessments in OH and IL. We do not currently have a Human Resources department as we are a small company. However, as we run into various challenges with navigating these contracts, we find that it is imperative that we have some basic processes and internal systems in place. Create a comprehensive Recruiting program and offer desirable benefits and compensation to Independent Contractors. Recruit and hire licensed Professionals in IL and OH to complete Mental Health Assessments to clients in person and/or telephonically. Clients are based in Long Term Care facilities, hospitals and/or in the public. Implement an Onboarding system and credentialing process and create necessary Human Resource forms Create a ‘playbook” for both states outlining the role and responsibilities of the position.

I See You F.A.C.S (Family and Community Support) Project

We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that support our mission and vision statement. We believe this project will include: Assist with developing and expanding a Food program that had already been operating with limited structure. Create a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and identify areas of need via census data. Utilize USDA guidelines and structures to develop programs to sustain operations year around. Interpret a request for proposal (RFP). Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our non-profit's mission and vision.
