Bio

Dr. La Verne Abe Harris is a Clinical Professor in Technical Communications with an emphasis on visual communication. She was a tenured Associate Professor at Purdue University in Computer Graphics Technology and director of the IDEA Laboratory, a research and development lab.

Dr. Harris worked in industry before going to higher education, as an Art Director, Computer Graphics Production Manager, and Creative Director. She also owned her own Harris Studio.
